 HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY

Karen & Ron wish all mothers a very Happy Mother's Day!!

We honor mother's day because it is recognized around the world and all mothers deserve a day just for them, because where would we be without them?

In Canada in May we have Victoria Day and our friends in the USA have Memorial Day.

What ever the holiday, whatever the occassion always remember to enjoy and have fun.

We have finally heard from Ted and we congratulate him on the win of our Stay & Play package and we hope you enjoy the golf and the RV Park at Castlegar.

TIP OF THE MONTH

RANGE SAVER

RV RANGE SAVER

the space around the burners on the cook top (for those that aren't sealed) is often disgusting ... full of spilled or burned food, and often mouse droppings ... Yuk! Here’s a fix to make cleaning it easier: Line the bottom of the pan with aluminum foil but DON’T cover over any of the holes on the sides! Make sure the foil is under everything, but the holes on the sides allow air to flow in for proper combustion. Once done, spillage into the burner cavity will be much easier to clean up ... just pull out the foil and replace it.

 TECH TIP OF THE MONTH

Sticky Sewer Valves

The sewer and grey water valves on your coach should operate smoothly with little effort ... sometimes they don’t. This is because they get dirty, the lubricant fails or something gets jammed in the seals. What’s worse is that this frequently leads to leaking ... and a surprise when you remove the sewer cap. If this happens to you, you might need to replace the valve seals. Once the tanks are emptied and cleaned, disassemble the valves using the four bolts around the outside and remove it. Replacement seal kits are available for your particular valve. Clean the entire assembly and then lubricate with Dow Corning 111 valve grease. This is a long-lasting valve lubricant that will help your valves last a long time. Replace the seals, reassemble the valves and test with clean water for leaks. Voila … you’re done!
